Dear 2000 Balloonist,

Thanks for checking in and I'm sure you you'll agree that the 2000 balloons painting is looking quite spectacular! At the time of writing (October 12th 2006) I only have 219 balloons to paint and I hope you are as excited as I am at the prospect of seeing the painting finished. One lucky balloon lover is going to be the proud owner of what I consider to be my masterpiece, before very long. I plan to hold the prize draw at the Icicle balloon fiesta on the first weekend of 2007. It will be at the venue, Swindon's Hilton Hotel, where seven years earlier I asked balloonists would they be interested in such a painting and the response was very positive. It has been a long road with many changes for me personally but I know I will never regret undertaking such a task.
